JEN NEWMAN - www.jennifer-newman.com
The artwork explores water in its many forms. It is a celebration of the artist’s hand, making marks and interpreting the movement and flow of the water’s many facets, using light and texture. The use of mixed media encapsulates water in all its forms.
RICHARD FOX - www.richardfox-sculpture.com
Richard's paintings have a dream-like quality. Textural, a place to let your mind drift, and contemplate. His sculptural work from oak follows wave movements and lines in space. He has four sculptures on exhibition in London. www.sheridanrussellgallery.com
EMMA MOXEY - www.emmamoxey.co.uk
The exhibition represents an enquiry into the mechanisms of drawing, focussing on its inherent processes of communication through sign and symbolic marking, and re-iteration through translation and transmutation. Works draw from, ‘placial’ aspects such as topography, cartography, mythology, history and sensory perceptions, whilst evolving through interconnections and the embodiment of various material forms.
ROD CLEASBY - www.central-uk.com
After working as an architect Rod returned to his passion for art as a graphic designer and illustrator. This led on to rediscovering his flair for drawing and painting in all its forms. Rod is a polymath with a number of strong styles. He loves to produce detailed art from the natural world as much as big graphical statements for the modern era. Rod has spent much of 2009 exhibiting at events where he will demonstrate drawing in charcoal and painting in acrylic. He latest series uses the theme of black and gold.
TONY HALCROW
Tony Halcrow has always been involved with working with wood, in business and as a hobby. He uses wood from the UK and also some imports. Some exciting pieces come from local fallen trees. Inspiration for his work comes from a wide variety of sources and the ability to picture a finished piece. His portfolio would suit a diverse range of tastes.
